"Grandsons Christening Card ruined by postman/lady"

A review of Royal Mail by Wendy Mazzocchi written on Friday 28th of April 2017

My grandsons personalised christening card was so forced through our postbox that it is almost bent in too, the front of the card clearly stated DO NOT BEND

With the christening being this Sunday I have had to re-order from Moonpig paying £9.99 for express delivery

When I telephoned Royal Mail to ask for a full reimbursement of the card and postage I was advised by the call handler that all that I could claim for was the cost of the card and the standard first class post of 0.65p which has left me out of pocket by over £9.00 just because the postman/lady couldn't be bother to take the time to ensure that the card wasnt bent

Im not asking for compensation even though Ive had to phone and then take the time to re-order the card but I don't expect to be out of pocket through no fault of my own!.
